ALESSANDRA SCHERILLO

Alessandra (Alex) is an inspiring woman who has worked in the film industry for over 15 years. She is a director with a keen eye for light, form, space, cinema and all things beautiful. Her work brings a new approach to the worlds of fashion, beauty and lifestyle, bringing a fresh approach to creating commercials.

Alex established herself as a cinematographer after graduating top of her year at the National Film School. She launched her career by lighting a cinema commercial for Stella Artois which was in competition for the Oscar Shorts and followed by work on commercials for prestigious brands such as Guinness, The Guardian, The Times, Ford, Renault, and Vespa as well as dramas and documentaries.

Alex's success lies in promoting brands with stronger and more narrative-led, well constructed pieces of work that resonate and stay with the audience: each piece being memorable and providing a unique experience.Alex has won many awards and her experience of filming with I-D magazine, AnOther, Pret a Porter, Armani and Vogue and iconic figures such as Tilda Swinton and Al Pacino.

Whether she is in London, Mumbai or Rome, rest assured wherever the camera is, she is always in the same place wanting to promote film, beauty and fashion into a more tailored and aspirational space. Alex brings a fresh approach to creating commercials and indents and visual content for in-store and online.

Originally from Italy, living in the UK. She holds two passports.
