Born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Political Science. Destined for University of Denver Law School she moved to Denver, Colorado. Upon arrival she found herself enthralled with the area and soon found herself making the choice to work on a movie or attend law school. Her parents were none to pleased but you have to take a leap of faith at some point in life. Swearing to go back to school if she did not succeed. That was eons ago and she it still at it.
Leslie began working in all aspects of production on a myriad of types of projects from commercials, episodic television, movies of the week, music videos and branded content. She quickly moved through the production ranks to become a sought after commercial freelance Producer traveling the world. Once she had her son she decided to open her own production company. Her company is based on a freelance director model and as such she engages with highly creative talent nurturing each project start to finish. Her company works on branded, beauty, comedy, drama, lifestyle, narrative, tour assets, as well as viral films created in collaboration with driven directors and clients. She runs a full-service production company serving agencies and client direct nationally and internationally. She has a keen intellect and wit which has propelled her career. She is adept at problem solving and sees the holistic picture of each project from pre through post production.
She has served on a multitude of boards in the State of Colorado to grow the film industry. She has served as the President of the Colorado Film and Video Association which was integral in establishing the state’s film incentive program. She has long worked as a mentor for women in film and leads by example.
